Winnie the Pooh’s “Piglet”: Boy or Girl?

For years, my father and I have been arguing about whether Piglet from the AA Milne books ‘Winnie the Pooh’ is male or female.
I insist that Piglet is a boy. In the original books, it seems as though I remember Piglet being referred to as a “he”. But, I could be wrong. Does anybody know what Piglet really is??? Help my father and I solve this years-old argument!

Piglet is referred to as a boy in the book and in the cartoons he’s also male with a male voice.

Piglet is referred to as a male in all the original stories written by A.A. Milne.

According to the show,cartoon,books and all toys of piglet, piglet is in fact a boy. It is a known fact…Your welcome.

Piglet is a hermaphrodite.

(even though he’s pink, ha ha)
anyways, he is referred to as ‘he’ and he has a male voice and all that!
(I thought he was a girl for awhile though)

Piglet is a boy — as are most of the characters in the book. Except for Kanga. Hmm,…. makes you wonder huh? But boys that age didn’t want girls invading their space.

In all the books, Piglet is always refered to as a ‘he’.
Piglet is a fictional character from A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books. Piglet is a baby pig who is the best friend of Winnie-the-Pooh. Despite the fact that he is a “Very Small Animal” with a stutter and a generally timid disposition, he often conquers his fears and seems to want to be brave.

You know, I’ve never known really thought about it. I think it’s a boy, though!
