We have created this PSA (Public Service Announcement) in the style of the hilariously ineffective videos they show us in DARE/Health&Wellness/Segment1. We have naturally added our own little twist to the idea though.

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency sponsored a contest. 6th-8th graders could submit their ideas for a public service announcement to Drug Free PA, and the winners (the best idea) would have their idea produced into a 30-second PSA in the Digital Television Production Studio, operated by the National Guard CounterDrug program.

This PSA, part of a series from the early 1970′s, shows Janey at one of those pivotal points in life where the message is if she makes the wrong choice, she will forever be doomed.
