my dad drinks to much beer?

i do i get him to stop, when his friends come over he has a beer ,when they go out side and look at the truck they have a beer, looking at his new mower have a beer. checking out his new saw they have a beer. he cant doing any thing with having a beer

my parents are the same!!
does your dad drink beer to get drunk? or does he drink beer because he like to have a drink in his hand?
my parents drink out of habit! i guess its just bearing with them!
im 19 and my parents have been drinking as long as i can remember! the less time you spend around home or aorund them the less time youll worry about it.

Get a doctor, or pretty much if he doesnt drink too much or he doesnt hit or something violent like that to anyone including YOU and you FAMILY. !! please rate me good and i hoped this help even though this is short.

Don’t get in the way of a man and his beer, lol. You don’t say how much he is drinking, if he drinks everyday than that can be a problem, if he just drinks on weekends than I don’t see anything wrong with that.

You can’t stop him from drinking he has to want to stop himself until he hits his bottom.

Who cares!?! As long as he’s not abusive (emotionally or physically) to you or your family, and as long as it’s not interfering with his life/work, then get off his back!
He’s a grown man, as long as he’s responsible, a couple of beers a night is perfectly fine.

If he can’t do anything without having a beer then he is an alcoholic. I suggest you check Al Anon (link below) to see what can be done.
