ok… so I have a long distance boyfriend and he’s in college. At wvu(which is a HUGE party school) and every time I call him he’s drinking, or wasted. But when we’re together he doesn’t drink at all. Recently, he got in trouble by his super strict parents for skipping classes to drink with his roommates. Im super worried because my dad is was an alcoholic, and I don’t want to make or future kids deal with it. But I love him so much. Is he an alcoholic?

If you have to ask most likely the answer is yes. I’m not there so I do not know. He could just be a heavy drinker which I have many of in my family but they are constantly toeing the line of alcohol being degenerative to their lives. If he is putting off major things to drink or things he should be more interested but he is not due to drinking he may or have or problem….but then again I do not know y’all so maybe he just likes to party really freaking hard, good luck.

You say when he is around u he doesn’t drink at all. So next time you see him ask him if he wants a beer or something and see if it starts him off drinking to wasted or not. Or if he just has a couple but doesn’t get wasted.

he just likes to have a good time..now if he wakes up drinkin liquor or beer then that might be a different story.. whose to say yall are gonna have kids…let him finish school before ya make that mistake

If he’s not drinking around you also I would say no.
