I found a syringe and a spoon on my dad’s bed.?

Does this mean he’s like on drugs or can you use a syringe and a spoon for medical reasons. He doesn’t have any health problems. He has been a heroin and cocaine addict for years, stopped but sometimes messes up once in a while. I went downstairs and found him cleaning the gerage which isn’t like him at all. He never cleans or works around the house. Oh and I’m 16 and I’m the only one home, so is my dad using again? Thanksss

Yes, it definately sounds like he’s using again. It may cause a temporary problem, but you should tell your Mom or some other adult that you trust as soon as you can…Like, call them right now. Your Dad needs help. Good Luck, you poor baby!

You know he is honey or you wouldn’t be asking…Addiction is a very terrible problem…tell him what you saw and tell him to get you some therapy so you can prevent this from happening to you!!! Remember that this is very hard for him too..he doesn’t want to hurt you but unfortunately it does!! Get yourself some help so you can help him!! Good Luck

u put the drug & distilled water on the spoon and gently heat it to get all of the drug dissolved into the water. Then u draw it out of the spoon with the syringe and inject it. So ya, he’s using again.

id say hunny that he is back on crack, if you see a spoon and syringe lying around anywhere is a did give away someone is on drugs.
ive seen people on crack and a huge trait from all of them is that they start cleaning, they get busy because there mind is busy and that’s how they stimulate there high by getting really involved in things that you cant drag them away from.
sorry to say hun but you need to inform someone, no child should go through what your going through but he needs a wake up call, if you don’t he could very well get progressively worse.
i can guarantee he wont go to sleep tonight. he may go to bed but i doubt he’ll sleep and he’ll be terrible tomorrow if he doesn’t handle coming down very well which most user’s dont.

Yeah, Lyndsey, It sounds like your dad may be using again. I would tell your mom about what you found.
