How do I tell my alcoholic father that my brother who he hates hit my car today?

He hates my brother and me. I honestly cannot lie about it and I’m really scared of how he will react. I know he won’t hurt me, but I’m just tired of hearing him yell.

i would not tell him keep down fights and tell him it was a hit and run so your dad does not unleash on the brother

Tell him he hit it while he was drunk.
