well i have two kids but not a single mom. I have two kids but there not lil baby’s so its not that hard going to school f/t. Basically I would base my schedule around there school schedule. Plus I live in ca, were they provide expenses for your kids to go to daycare that way I don’t have to worry about paying someone to watch my kids. Its not really that hard. Oh i also Take short classes like 8 week, 3 unit classes apposed to a full semester. I try planning most of my classes on the same day to get it out the way for that week! That way I only have to worry bout were there going for 2-3 days. Also getting financial aid isn’t much but it helps…BTW there are several programs to help single parents I suggest you look into it! Hi there. Im a single mum of two kids (5 and 2 years old) and im studing a full time university degree. I live in Australia so cant comment on Gov. financial help, but the way i resolved to study while having no one to help me with the kids is through distance education. Basically i study on-line and i only have to occasionally go to residential schools and exams, but most subjects have on-line assessment. On-line education is harder from the point of view that you dont have all the support you would have in campus and you have to study it all by yourself so you need lots of discipline and motivation. In that way i can easily study when i have the time. It is not easy studding with children, but it sets a very good example. My oldest daughter who is at school always asks me about my grades and is inspired by me. Wish you good luck!
